Florida is HOT. There is absolutely no doubt that. Are outside photo sessions even possible? The answer is yes!
Here are some tips to get the most out of your Florida summer photosession.
Location:
You want shade. Whether it's from the sun or the rain, choosing a location with the elements in mind will help make your session a success.
A beach shoot will be cooler by the water, as it is usually more windy. Keep that in mind, though, as a windswept look is not for everyone.
A garden with lots of trees is a fantastic way to utilize the beauty of nature while also providing shade.

Consider a photo studio. Depending on the studio, you can sometimes still achieve a natural light look.
Time:
The closer to sunset, the cooler it will be. It is still very humid, but the sun will not be as harsh. Sunrise is also an option, but it gets hot fast.
What to bring to help:
A mini fan can be a lifesaver. Yes, sweat can be photoshopped out, but if it can be avoided, why not? Blotting cloths will help preserve makeup and minimize grease and sweat. Last but not least, bring plenty of water!
